Monster Chess aim is to checkmate the king of your opponent.
Board Configuration: The white player receives a pawn on c2, d2, e2, f2, and a king (on e1), while the black player receives the regular set of pieces.
The main difference between this variant and standard chess is that the player with the white pieces may make two successive movements, whereas the player with the black pieces can only make one.
During their turn, White may move two different pieces of the same piece twice.
As long as the White King is out of check on move #2, it may move into check on its first move.
The white ruler can now capture the black king as a result of this.
If the player with the black pieces goes anywhere, White can capture the Black King in the next two moves, checkmating Black.
“Skipping” a move is not allowed for the player who has the white pieces; instead they must take two turns.
En passant occurs normally, and pawns are promoted normally.
The winner is the first player to checkmate the king of their rival!
